“ELVIS AND FRIENDS” TO APPEAR AT MIDDFEST FUND RAISER

Santa has come and gone and “Elvis” is on the way to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Middletown.

The perfect Valentine gift for an Elvis fan might be tickets to the Valentine’s Day concert by Mike Davis who brings a Vegas-style show to the stage with his “Evening with Mr. Entertainment – Elvis & Friends Tribute Show”.  The February 14 show will begin at 7 pm in the Dave Finkelman Auditorium on the campus of Miami University Middletown, 4200 E University Blvd.

Tickets are available at the Middfest International office on the 4th floor of the Middletown City Building, One Donham Plaza, in downtown Middletown or by calling 513-425-7707.

Ticket prices are $20 per person, $25 for preferred seating, $35 per couple or $150 for a group of 10.

Mike Davis is, in his other life, an 8th grade religion teacher and Delhi township trustee. But on the weekends, he performs at the Grand Victoria Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana. His popular show includes lots of audience participation and a lively, upbeat show certain to please all Elvis fans.

Each year, Middfest International holds events to raise funds which are used to support their year-long friendship outreach-around-the-world effort.  Middfest culminates in a weekend cultural event on Donham Plaza in downtown Middletown.  The event features a different foreign country each year. Performers, artists, authors and displays depicting life in the chosen country draw thousands to the downtown site. Mongolia has been chosen as the 2008 Middfest International feature country.
