Bishop Pringle addresses Middletown Council (video)
Saturday, February 17, 2007 12:38:21 PM - Middletown Ohio

by John Beagle

Bishop Pringle speaks with passion to city council. He is not happy about the appointments of two white council personnel rather than at least one qualified black candidate.

"I see how it was done.It was done easy.... when a society of people never ever see.... every thing in this city, ignores African Amercans." said Bishop Pringle.

I just can't stop watching this video from the civic leader Bishop Pringle. Each time I watch it, I learn new words and understand what is wrong with our city. All I can say is, thank you BP for enlightening me with your motivational and wonderful speech to city council!

This man is right. There is not enough representation in the black community. Thanks to BP, we now have a better council.

Rev Pringle is a good man to look out for us.

He is the one that does not see diversity. Diversity is not only black, it is also socio-economic status, ethnic, and cultural among many other factors. He only sees color or "race" what is "race" does he even know? But, the only thing he sees when he speaks to council or the school board is the fact that there are no black members there. But, everyone one of those people bring a form of diversity to the table. They are all from different backgrounds. People like him are some of the major factors that are affected the improvement of our city. When you see race you don't see improvement.
