Presents | The Rustbelt Rebirth: Rising
From The Ashes of Economic
Decline | In Middletown, Hamilton, and all over Butler County,
cities have suffered greatly due to the economic crisis our nation is
experiencing. Unemployment numbers continue to rise, and Forbes.com
recently named Middletown one of America’s fastest dying cities. Not
everyone is ready to quit just yet, however. Admirably, many concerned
citizens have organized grassroots efforts to address the local
economic crisis and erase the stigma attached to declining rustbelt
communities.
How is this being accomplished? What
opportunities exist in the midst of crisis to forge new partnerships or
innovate new ways of strengthening
communities? | Friday,
