G Tee Shotta - Save the Children Video in the Works
Tuesday, February 21, 2012 9:51:27 AM - Middletown Ohio

Mayor L. Mulligan of Middletown, Ohio stands behind G Tee Shotta and his new single soon to be released "Save The Children".

Calling all parents who have kids or who know kids all over the world. Record a short video of the child saying (SAVE THE CHILDREN) and send it to gteeshotta@gmail.com This song is produced by Greg hill of the grammy award group (THE DELFONICS). Come on people lets do this for the kids.

G TEE SHOTTA SPREADS THE MESSAGE OF HOPE

In the US, more than 16 million children live in poverty. Statistics report that every 10 seconds a child is being abused. Between 2002 and 2007, an estimated 2.1 million children in the U.S. lived with at least one parent who was either abusive or dependent on illicit drugs. Studies of children in foster care find that 40% to 80% of families involved with child welfare have substance abuse problems.  Childhood obesity, child hunger, substance abuse in children and children born chemically dependent are grave realities in America today.

Billboard Reggae recording artist and founder of Top Shotta Recordz, G Tee Shotta is working diligently to spread the message of hope to our nation’s children and across the globe. G Tee Shotta wants the children of Middletown to help him spread this message. His new single, Save the Children, produced by Grammy Award winning Greg Hill and the Delfonics featuring Greg Hill’s daughter “Lil D,” is at the forefront of his campaign to save children who are suffering from the devastating impact of poverty, abuse, drug addiction, and obesity. His message of hope rings clear through every energetic verse. The video for Save the Children will be filmed primarily in Middletown, Ohio where  in 2009, G Tee Shotta received a Key to the City of Middletown, from City Mayor Larry Mulligan and is poised to receive a proclamation as well, for his passion and commitment to the city and its’ youth.  His passion for the city is evident as he desires to make Middletown central to this national campaign.  Parts of the video will also be filmed in New York City where G Tee Shotta resides; giving some of Middletown’s youth an opportunity to experience New York.

G Tee Shotta is working with several local agencies that are helping him to “Spread his Message of Hope.” These agencies are: Freedom CDC, Inc., who has a Restoring Hope Initiative that seeks to bring greater awareness to Drug Endangered Children; with Kingdom Vision Outreach (KVO), an agency whose focus is on building character in youth; and with MALACHI, a youth-serving organization whose mission is to mobilize the assets of each adolescent to achieve success within family and our community.

Spreading the Message of Hope is G Tee Shotta’s mission. He is planning a Save the Children Media Blitz & Video Shoot that will serve as an official launch of the Save the Children Campaign and National Tour.  Activities include: Press Party on February 24, 2012 at Miami University Middletown, 6 pm – 8 pm; trip to New York City, March 30th – April 2nd, for a live video shoot and tour of the city; and live video shoot in Middletown on Saturday, April 7th & Sunday, April 8th.

G Tee Shotta is seeking additional agencies, individuals, and sponsors, who have a heart for children, to get involved. Please join him in spreading the Message of Hope by contacting the local project coordinator, Katrina Wilson at (513) 217-4483 or his manager, Vianna Jaramillo at (347) 264-2430.
