Homework Grades in Middletown Might Become Null |
Wednesday, May 16, 2007 8:50:09 AM - Middletown Ohio |
Middletown's school district policy committee recommended an amendment that would make homework grading a thing of the past. Under the new policy homework would still be issued and emphasized, but would not contribute towards students' grades. The issue has been raised in light of concerns of some students receiving little or no help from their parents on their homework assignments, while others may be receiving adequate help or even having parents do their work for them. Middletown School Board members reviewed the proposed amendment Monday night.
