Kathryn's Home Accents - Not Your Average Funiture Store

Sitting quietly on Cincinnati-Dayton Road, just 1200 feet south of Roosevelt Boulevard, is a little shop full of home décor items you may not have seen elsewhere. Kathryn's Home Accents maintains a beautiful collection of furniture, decorations, and many other specialty items.

Nestled in every nook, cranny, hallway, and bathroom you'll find lamps, accent tables, and accessories. Kathryn's maintains a huge collection of Vera Bradley handbags and Viva Beads Jewelry as well. If candles are your style, they carry the Swan Creek and Lifetime Candles that are hard to find elsewhere in the area.

Kathryn Schaub, owner of Kathryn's Home Accent's, is always around willing to help you with your home decorating needs. She opened the business in September of 2006 and takes in consignment furniture as well as ordering new through various vendors throughout the country. She added the Vera Bradley product line a year ago, and says it's “had a large positive impact on our business.” The ‘our' she refers to are her two part-time employees, as well as a partner who jointly owns the Vera Bradley line with her.

With 3 floors to shop on and two large outside decks Kathryn's has always had lots of space to display her unique products, but in 2009 they found themselves getting a little cramped. So, they converted their 2 stall garage into additional finished shop space. The addition has let them showcase more of their specials and promotional items throughout the year. Sitting on nearly two acres of land, there really are few limits to how far Kathryn's could expand to keep up with demand.

Visit Kathryn's at 2204 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, Middletown or at http://www.kathrynshomeaccents.com. You can also contact them at 513-217-4500 or at kathyschaub@hotmail.com
