A drive-through fantasy light display

 

 

November 24 through December 315:30 pm to 9:30 pm - regardless of the weather

(Runs nightly, including holidays, from the Friday after Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve.)

 

The Display – Enter through Christmas Tree Lane, through the tunnel of lights and enjoy a sparkling fantasyland. Light Up Middletown includes several themed areas including an animated swan floating in the fishing lake, ice skaters, Santa,  train,  American flag, penguin village, deer leaping over the roadway, a lighted helicopter near the Middletown airport runway, a hot air balloon and many more—all with thousands of twinkling lights. The 2006 display has been expanded to include many new and exciting displays in additional areas of the 100-acre park.  Santa and Mrs Claus every Friday and Saturday evening – photos available.

 

Motor coach tours welcome. (All arches over roadways accommodate motor coach size vehicles.)

 

Location - Smith Park, 500 Tytus Avenue, downtown Middletown, Ohio

I-75, exit 32. Follow State Route 122 to downtown Middletown. Smith Park is located on Tytus Avenue, just off Verity Parkway (SR4). The park is adjacent to Middletown’s Hook Field Airport

 

Admission by donation – Drop a donation in the box as you enter the park

 

Sponsor - Light Up Middletown is a non-profit organization raising money to support Middletown City Park improvements. All construction labor and gate attendants are volunteers.
