LIGHT UP MIDDLETOWN ATTENDANCE STILL GROWING

In this 12th year of operation, Light Up Middletown continues to grow--not only by adding new displays but by the number of people visiting the month-long event. After the first two weeks of the nightly drive-through display, 20,923 people in 6,568 vehicles, including 28 buses, have toured the displays. That is an increase of 4% in the number of people over the 2009 event when 20,184 guests toured during the same period of time.

Light Up Middletown is open every night 6-10 pm, including all holidays through 12/31/10. The month-long event is held in Smith Park, 500 Tytus Avenue, in downtown Middletown, Ohio. (I-75, Exit 32)

Admission is by donation—you set the price.  Guests are asked to make a cash donation of any size at the gate to help defray the costs of new displays and park upgrades.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting with children every Friday and Saturday 7-9 pm through December 18.  Photos are available with a donation of $10 per photo or two prints of the same photo for $15.

For more information contact Flo Randall at 513-423-1877 or visit the website www.LightUpMiddletown.org.
