Middletown High School junior Skylar Jones completed 145 of 299 passes last season for 1,974 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also ran for 600 yards. His speed in the 40-yard dash is recorded at 4.30 seconds from this year's Nike combine at Ohio State, the fastest time in the country according to Middletown coach Ron Johnson. He is the state champion in the 300-meter hurdles and finished second in the state in the 110 hurdles. He's received offers so far from Ohio State, Michigan State, Purdue, Illinois, Tennessee, Cincinnati, and West Virginia, but has signed a Letter of Intent with Wake Forest as it is the only college which guaranteed him a Quarterback spot.
Skylar will no doubt receive more and better offers in his coming year as QB for Middletown, and MiddletownUSA wishes him a great year.
