Miami University Middletown Youth Basketball Camp

Boys and Girls Youth Basketball Camp at Miami University Middletown begins on June 25th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be for grades 3 through 8. The camp's goal is to give young players the fundamentals of individual as well as team play. Cost is $30 per camper, which includes a T-shirt and lunch. This is a great way to get kids active during the summer months, interact with other children their age, and learn skills in basketball.

Shootout Director: Dave Hall now in his second year as head coach of the MUM women's program. Success is common to the women's program. David spent 17 years officiating both high school and college basketball and is currently the golf coach for Monroe High School as well as working at the Xerox Corporation. He resides in Monroe with his wife, Michele. He has two daughters and five grandchildren.

Tim Kellis: Tim has coached for 32 years with stops in Tennessee, Mississippi and Ohio. His teams have won a total of 13 league titles, 8 district titles, 2 state runner-ups and 2 state titles. Tim has also coached volleyball, softball, football, track and baseball. He served as Christian School Athletic Director for 8 years. Coach Kellis lives in Monroe with his wife Patti, who is a special needs teacher with the Monroe Local Schools and his son JC, who is a student at MUM and a member of the ThunderHawk baseball team.
