For the 2009-2010 school years Middletown Christian is lowering its tuition by 5 percent. Some people think it is strange but it is a struggling time for the school. The school is working to do everything they can to help out the families.
A local parent who will have five children in grades kindergarten through 10th at the school was very surprised to learn the school would be lowering tuition. It will help out many people. There were many families that did not return this year due to financial situations. Roger Brandenburg said that out of the 420 Middletown Christian students already make sacrifices for a faith-based education and the tuition decrease will hopefully help them return next year.
They see their families as their most valuable aspect. Originally the school was considering a tuition increase. In order to not increase the tuition the school had to do a lot of adjusting and cutting some staff. They knew it wouldn’t be easy.
