The Middletown Civic Chorus is set to present its 76th annual performance of Handel's "Messiah". The chorus will perform selections from Handel's masterwork on Sunday, December 6th, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Middletown.
This year's performance will not be selling tickets and, thanks to generous sponsors, there is no cost for the event, though a free-will offering will be accepted.
If you have never seen the Middletown Civic Chorus' performance of Handel's "Messiah" then I highly recommend attending. If you have seen the performance in the past you should still consider coming as the event offers something new and different every year.
The director of this year's event is Miami University's Dr. Jeremy Jones and the chorus will be accompanied by strings, organ, and trumpet. In addition to that, there will also be solos, choruses, and the famous "Hallelujah!"
This event is a great opportunity to lift your spirits and celebrate the upcoming holidays. It is also a fantastic way to experience something new and something that you may not get to experience too often.
The completely free event will be taking place at the First Presbyterian Church located at 2910 Central Avenue, Middletown, Ohio on Sunday, December 6th at 3:00 pm. Visit the Middletown Civic Chorus' Facebook page for more information.
