MIDDLETOWN CVB DEVELOPS DOWNTOWN WALKING TOUR

Twenty-one points of interest were selected for the newly released Middletown Downtown Walking Tour guide.

With over 200 years of history, downtown Middletown is rich in  interesting buildings and monuments as well as current activities and art.

According to the CVB, to just walk the tour route requires a minimum of 45 minutes. To actually enter the buildings that are open to the public and visit each display requires a full 2-3 hours.

The tour is posted on the www.visitMiddletown.org website maintained by the Middletown Convention and Visitors Bureau. Those who wish may print the map and the narrative descriptions along with photos of each site.

While the tour by no means includes all of the interesting points in downtown Middletown, it is meant as a starter for those who may want to have just a “snapshot” of Middletown and then develop their own tour as they expand on the elements of particular interest.
