COLUMBUS – Katherine S. McNeil, a board member for the Middletown City School District and the Butler Technology and Career Development Schools, was recognized in NSBA’s National School Board Member Recognition Program at one of the association’s regional spring conferences.
The conference took place at the Miami Valley Career Technology Center on March 17. This NSBA program acknowledges the outstanding service of a very select group of board members each year. Of the more than 3,400 board members in Ohio, only 11 will receive this recognition in 2009.
The Ohio School Boards Association is in its 54th year of service to public education and represents the state’s public school boards. OSBA’s services include: management consulting, continuing education through training programs and workshops, policy development, legal services, legislative initiatives, management services, superintendent and other executive searches, information, technology, employee relations and communications.
