The Board of Education met this morning to discuss the passage of the $4 renewal and the failure of the $1.5 million increase.

The district previously eliminated $5.5 million of programs and services because of levy failures.

Passage of the renewal will allow the district to restore $4 million of programs and services. The complete list of services and programs to be restored is not complete. However, the Board announced the following.

Transportation will be restored to previous levels on November 26. Students in grades pre K – 8 living over one mile from their school will have transportation to and from school. High School students living 2 miles away from their school will receive transportation services.
