The Middletown Board of Education will have to interview five out of nine people from Ohio that applied for the districts next treasurer. They are from all over Ohio. The applicants currently manage finances for districts from just more than 800 students to 29,500 students.
The interviews will be starting on January 15th and end on January 19th which is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The person that is hired will be handling Middletown’s $101.9 million budget.
The following are the applicants that will be interview:
Todd Puster is the treasurer of Streetsboro City Schools in northeast Ohio.
Jeff Schroeder is the director of accounting and finance for Toledo City Schools.
John Wilkinson is the treasurer for Three Rivers Local Schools outside Cincinnati.
Lisa Fahncke is the treasurer for Riverside Local Schools which is an hour north of Dayton.
Mark Zimov is the treasurer of Madison Local Schools.
