I recently moved back to the area and could not believe what has happened to my home town. It seems like middletown is dying.I believe it can change but only if we change it. Voting is the best way to make things better. I see my vote was heard. Now I pray that it will make a difference. Good luck Middletown don't give up. This is our town.

I have to say, I'm very happy about Laubach, Picard is okay, but :( on Armbruster and Smith.

Armbruster has proven he is completely worthless, but who knows, maybe with new blood in the system he will liven up.

Smith, well, let's face it, he's Obama Jr. and we all see how well Obama is doing. Smith's heart may be in the right place, but his views, policies, and overall thought processes are skewed horribly and he could very well drag this town even further into a slum.

It seems impossible to get folks to know that one can catch way more flys with sugar that crap. Therefore, let's give those interested in change and improvement a chance to do their work. "If you do what you do, you will get what you have got." The citizens have decided what we have got is not what we need. I say new council persons, regardless of who they are, deserve our support. Especially one who gathered 72% of the vote. That is a loud message. Which accompanied by the reality that the second ward wanted the ward system to remain is a VERY LOUD message to the leadership of this town. This amendment barely passed. Had procrastinators voted, a different outcome.
