by Bill Triick:
In a letter from Lt Gov Lee Fisher on behalf of the Ohio Dept of Development received via email at the chamber today, they announced the launching of www.recovery.ohio.gov regarding the Amercian Recovery and Reinvestment Act-the federal stimulus package. This letter goes on to read,
"All expressions of interest from entities in federal stimulus dollars are to be submitted in the simple form on this website even if already submitted in some other way. This will ensure a transparent, consistent, and non-redundant process to build one data base of all potential projects."
"Once a project is submitted by an entity, it will be entered into our master database and then forwarded to the appropriate state entity. Then, once the federal stimulus bill is finalized, those who have submitted forms regarding projects which may meet eligibility requirements will receive an email indicating where, when, and how to apply for funds. In the meantime, people can check back at the website (or sign-up on the front page for website update notifications) for any new information available."
"A Frequently Asked Questions option will be posted to the site in the next few days; answers to questions of general interest will be posted on the site. Information about upcoming technical assistance options, important links to other sites, and further updates will be posted regurlaly."
