Party's In The Kitchen
Wednesday, October 1, 2014 1:50:32 PM - Middletown Ohio
PARTY’S IN THE KITCHEN
An album. A tour.
Presented by Bones Jugs N Harmony

Harmony appearing live Sunday, November 9th at the Old Crow Bar, 1217 Jackson Ln in
Middletown, OH supporting their debut album, Party’s In The Kitchen.

Party’s In The Kitchen is not just a household fact, it is the debut album from Bones Jugs N Harmony, a
ragtimecalypsoamericanajugband mashup hailing from Urbana, Illinois. The album is set for release on
October 17th, 2014, which will simultaneously kick off a 36 day, 33 city U.S.A. tour. On Sunday, November 9th,
The Party’s In The Kitchen Tour will be stopping at the Old Crow Bar in Middletown, OH. Hard copies of the
album will be available at every show.

The album was recorded, engineered and mixed by Joseph Dejarnette of Studio 808a, who has worked with
Lake Street Dive, The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Luminescent Orchestrii and the WIYOS. The album oozes
originality, from the songwriting, composition, and arrangements to the eclectic acoustic instrumentation. The
rhythmic backbone consists of a custom trapkit, upright bass, and either tenor banjo, resonator guitar, or
acoustic guitar. Soaring over the top with colorful riffs are the xylophone and the steel drum while kazoos,
whistles, bells, honkers, bones, jug, and more knickknacks fill out the sound. The quirkiness of Party’s In The
Kitchen does not take away from the album’s musicality, as it is filled with hooks, grooves, and catchy lyrics
crafted with highquality musicianship. In their debut album, Bones Jugs N Harmony delights listeners with a
joyful and familiar sonic experience that inspires foot tapping, singing, laughter and curiosity. It's Frank Zappa
meets Spike Jones, it's Looney Tunes meets Nintendo. It’s seriously silly. It's a party. It's for dancing, for
listening, for enjoying. It’s for adults. It’s for kids. It’s for everyone. It's a frenzy of frivolity, a marvel of merriment.
In short, it’s just loads of fun.

Bones Jugs N Harmony promises an entertaining album and show for all who choose to indulge. It’s a family
friendly affair, for kids of all ages! If you would like more information on Bones Jugs N Harmony, please go to
