Press Release: NEW TOTER PROGRAMS
Wednesday, January 26, 2011 8:32:56 AM - Middletown Ohio

For more information, contact Valerie Hamilton at 425-7940

As part of the new contract with Rumpke, Middletown residents can now request a 95-gallon or 65-gallon waste toter at the cost of $1.50 per month. The cost would be added to the monthly utility bill.

To encourage more residents to recycle and become a greener community, new recycling toters are also available. These 65-gallon recycling toters are available free of charge.

To be eligible for toters under either program, residents must be the property owner or tenant responsible for the residential utility bill with the City of Middletown. All toters requested under these programs must remain at the account address and not be removed or relocated to another property. Missing or stolen toters should be reported to Rumpke along with a copy of a police report.

Residents can sign up for these programs by visiting the City of Middletown’s website at www.cityofmiddletown.org or calling the Water Billing office at 513-425-7870.
