After the May 8 levy failure that threatens to leave our schools without extracurricular activities, among other things, Dr. Mark Frazer and others from the community formed a group to try and raise funds for extracurriculars in the coming fall season, an amount to the tune of about $750,000. The group have stated that they will not be able to raise all of the funds required, but still plan to raise as much as they can towards "enhancement of extracurricular activities". Excess funding will likely have to be provided by the participating students, if the August levy does not pass.
