Sissy Puccio, Featured Speaker
Tuesday, September 2, 2003 2:14:33 PM - Middletown Ohio
Sissy Puccio of Chapeau Puccio Millinery will be the featured speaker at the monthly Women In Networking luncheon scheduled for Thursday, September 11 at the Manchester Inn and Conference Center.

Presented by the Mid-Miami Valley Chamber of Commerce, the luncheon is sponsored by Fifth Third Bank.

Ms. Puccio is a professional hat and shoe maker and has designed and made accessories worn at top events around the world. She is a member of the Chicago Millinery Arts Alliance and teaches shoe design and construction classes at various college campuses on a bi-monthly schedule. Ms. Puccio’s business will soon move from a location near the Antique Mall on Central Avenue to a studio in the Lincoln Center where she will have hours by appointment only. Her phone number is 1-513-320-HATS (4287).

She will speak to the business people at the WIN luncheon on the subject of international business and how to market a product on the internet.

Among her upcoming appearances, she will be one of two milliners featured at the Brasserie Jo, a world famous restaurant in Chicago, next month. Recently she was featured at the Arlington Race Track. She and her fellow millinery designers show their creations at a monthly tea held at the downtown Chicago Drake Hotel. Locally, she will be doing a hat show at the Settler’s Walk in Springboro in the near future. Ms. Puccio will also be featured in a documentary being made about the hat and shoe design business by a Canadian film team.

To make reservations for the WIN luncheon call 513-422-4551 or visit the chamber website at www.mmvchamber.org. Cost for the luncheon is $13.50.
