Today has been the first real taste of winter we’ve had here in Middletown, and folks, they say there is still more to come. This isn’t even the worst part of the year in our part of the country. Bundle up and get ready for the real fun to begin.
The local weather forecast is calling for 1 to 3 inches this afternoon and the same for tonight. It doesn’t look good for Wednesday either. The safest thing to day, if you can, is avoid being on the roads or out in the cold, but if you can not then dress warm and drive slowly. The snow plows are out but there is only so much they can do on days like this.
School was closed today in Middletown, West Middletown and most of the surrounding areas. In store for us tomorrow may be much of the same so don’t forget to watch your local news for the latest school closings.
