The Student Success Summit will be held in Columbus on Thursday, June 14. It is a statewide conference for higher education faculty and administrators, sponsored by the Planning Committee on Higher Learning Accountability and Productivity of the Ohio Board of Regents.
For the past two years the Planning Committee has sought to advance the caliber and productivity of Ohio’s higher education institutions by providing clear information about our many successes. It seeks to build on strategies and practices that have the greatest potential for demonstrating accountability while keeping the focus on what really counts most—student success.
The Planning Committee recommends that every Ohio public and independent institution publish its Student Success Plan online (see the Statement on Student Success Plans). At the Student Success Summit we will review progress to date and unveil the internet gateway to the current collection of online plans. A major feature of the Summit will be a set of panel discussions, sharing tangible examples of student success.
