The play Anne of Green Gables is a classic novel that re-creates about a young red-haired girl that was adopted by middle-aged siblings who were expecting a boy. She ends up growing close to this family and staying with them. Senior Alexis Curtis was interviewed by the Middletown Journal and said that Anne is someone that people of all ages can relate to. Curtis also said the play has its serious moments as well as fun moments. Throughout the play the audience will see how Anne get’s into a lot of trouble and mischief but she also gets more mature along the way.
