The 2nd Annual PAWS-A-PALOOZA is almost here!

The Progressive Animal Welfare Society (aka PAWS Adoption Center) is excited to announce the 2nd annual PAWS-A-PALOOZA!

Middletown, Ohio, June 2, 2014:  Saturday, June 14, 2014 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Downtown Middletown, Ohio on the corner of Manchester and Verity Parkway and Governor’s Square.

 

PAWS-A-PALOOZA is an “Animal Awareness Event” sponsored by PAWS Animal Adoption Center. From 10 AM to 4 PM visitors will find family-friendly fun. Come and learn about animal safety for the kids.  Meet the people who work to save animals every day and how you can help PAWS Adoption Center. Watch search and rescue demonstrations, let your dog take a swim, visit with PAWS adoption alumni and check out other activities for you and your pet. Amore Dog Obedience Training 
w
ill be holding Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine testing. The cost of the test is $20, and 50% of the proceeds will go to PAWS Adoption Center! Testing will be held between 11am-2pm. Sign up will be at the Paws & Claws Animal Rescue Inc's vendor booth. There will be many pet related vendors and unique items for sale, You can also find some of your favorite direct sales companies as well such as Thirty One and Pampered Chef. In addition, there will be food and drink from local restaurants.  PAWS-A-PALOOZA will also be highlighting veterinarians, rescues, shelters and adoptions from other areas.

 

Entertainment will feature local bands and a special Kids Corner. There will be cold drinks and great food also available. All for the love of PAWS! You will find more information available athttp://pawsapalooza.weebly.com/ and on Facebook.

 

Want to get involved? We might still be able to fit you in as sponsors, rescues and shelters. Vendors that offer unique merchandise or delicious food vendors are especially encouraged to apply. PAWS Adoption Center is a private, no-kill, non-profit animal shelter located in Middletown, Ohio, and is dedicated to providing care and shelter for unwanted dogs and cats and placing them in loving homes. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets by promoting adoption, spay/neuter, education and responsible pet ownership.  We house approximately 80 dogs and cats looking for permanent, loving homes.
