MIDDLETOWN, OHIO----- The 94th annual Charity Ball had the largest attendance in many years of 256 attendees. The Pendleton has never looked so good with Roger Connor's, the Honorary Chair’s vision and creativity. The Wizard of Oz - The Emerald City was definitely GREEN!
New this year was Social Hour on the first floor at the Pendleton with music provided by Dick Watson; the Artist Venues were opened for attendees to peruse. Upstairs, dinner, dancing, casino, silent auction and raffles were all a hit with doors closing at 11:45 pm. Due to generosity of area businesses, grand patrons and attendees, this year’s event looks to gross over $45,000. Net proceeds raised from the event will be presented in April at the Middletown Area Federation Women’s General Membership meeting to the Women’s Endowment Fund that was established in 2010. These funds provide for women’s health services in the Wilbur and Mary Jean Cohen Women’s Center at Atrium Medical Center.
