The "Fabulous Six" to be Chairing 94th Annual Charity Ball
Wednesday, November 19, 2014 11:17:13 AM - Middletown Ohio

MIDDLETOWN, OHIO----- The "fabulous six”: Dan & Frances Sack, Barb Brown, LaVonne Michael and Mike & Gail Clarey are chairing the 94th Annual Charity Ball-Emerald City Ball and cordially invite you to attend this year’s Ball on December 6th at the Pendleton Arts Center.  If you are interested in attending, please consider sending your reservations in ASAP, due to demand for tickets with Roger Conner, AIFD-Flowers by Roger being recognized as the Honorary Chair for his generous contributions to the community for more than 40 years.

This year’s event is being billed “as not your Grandmother’s Charity Ball “and will start at 6 pm, registration, holiday music provided by Dick Watson, and photos by Len Kaltman Photography with social hour to include appetizers and cash bar starting on the first floor. The Pendleton Artist’s venues will be open for touring and purchase with a % raised donated to the Women’s Endowment Fund. The sit down dinner starts at 7 pm and will be provided by Kirstin Spicer, Two Women in the Kitchen.

After the 8:15 program honoring Roger, there will be entertainment, music for dancing and listening provided by Ohio Valley Big Band Group with renowned singer, Nancy James. Due to last year’s success, the Emerald City’s Casino is back and will be staffed by the K or C Council #1610 dealers with the options of Black Jack, Poker, Big 6, Texas Hold’em and Horse Race; the casino area will also have raffle baskets to redeem your earnings and a Live Auction.

Proceeds raised from this year’s event will go toward the MAFWC Endowment that was established in 2010 that provides funds for women’s health services in the Wilbur and Mary Jean Cohen Women’s Center at Atrium Medical Center.  Cost to attend is $50 person or $100 per couple; contributing as a Grand Patron $150, includes dinner and a listing in the program–both include two admissions to the Ball. College age students may attend evening festivities at the Junior Patron admission of $25. The event is black tie optional.

Checks should be sent to: LaVonne Michaels, 1st Vice President, MAFWC, and 820 Jackson Lane, Middletown, OH 45044. Your check will serve as your reservations.
