Middletown High School social studies teacher Chris Brandt has invited veterans Nadine Nagle, John Nagle, Dave Coleman (photo), and Glendale Watkins to speak with our students about their experiences.
Nadine is a veteran of WWII and served in the WASPs (women air service pilots). She was one of 1800 women who completed the training program.
There are less than 400 still living.
Glendale Watkins is a WWII veteran, serving in an Engineer unit. He was captured and held as a POW for the last 6months of the war.
John Nagle served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was assigned to a helicopter detachment and onboard the USS Constellation.
Dave Coleman served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He served in the Army Special Forces with multiple tours of duty.
It all happens on Monday, November 12, form 12:45 PM - 1:30 PM in the MHS Media Center.
