Women in Networking Hear Travel Hints at Monthly Meeting |

Mid-Miami Valley Chamber of Commerce members and guests gathered at the Manchester Inn for their monthly networking meeting on February 13, 2003.
Speaker was Ann Mort, author of two travel books and co-publisher of Good News Magazine. Mrs. Mort shared packing tips, where to go for “the good the bad and the ugly trips” and the research process involved with compiling shopping opportunities along Interstate 75.
Each month the Women in Networking luncheon presents an opportunity to meet new business contacts and hear a speaker of particular interest to women.
The next regularly scheduled WIN meeting will be April 10, from 11 am to 1 pm at the Manchester Inn. Featured speaker will be Sue Cutting, expert in organizational skills and author of a book entitled “Chaos Under Control.” Mrs. Cutting teaches “ The Art of Organized Homemaking” at the Kettering Adult School and provides personal, in-home assistance to busy, disorganized homemakers and business women.
WIN luncheons are open to Chamber members at $13.50 per person and non-members at $25 per person which includes a salad buffet lunch. Those who attend are urged to bring canned goods to be donated to the Feed the Hungry project and gently used business clothing for the Room For Change project. |
