YMCA Bike Ride For Scholarships

   Y Ride?       ……..Because it’s FUN!  

The Great Miami Valley YMCA welcomes you to ride through scenic Southwest Ohio, June 12, 2010 in Middletown, Ohio. This ride benefits YMCA scholarships for deserving youth and is organized and managed by local bike enthusiasts to ensure you will have a fantastic riding experience.
Rides:

Two rides are available:

1) Bike Trail Ride - on a dedicated bike path along the scenic Great Miami River with distances ranging up to 22 miles. This ride is suited for families and non-road riders.

2) Tour Ride - on well marked, maintained and swept country roads with distances of 26 to 83 miles. More mileage is available if multiple loops are completed. The terrain is rolling along beautiful streams, farms and covered bridges. The routes have been selected by local riders as some of their favorites! Helmets must be worn by all riders. Ride will take place rain or shine, dress accordingly.

Amenities:

The routes will be SAG supported and have food and water stops available. Maps are available for each ride. Showers are also available at the conclusion of your ride at the YMCA. Please provide your own towel.

Tee shirts are available for purchase if order received by 06/01/2010. Shirts may be seen on line at event website. (see below)

Ride Day Registration: 7 AM to 10 AM at the Great Miami Valley YMCA, 1020 Manchester Ave. Middletown, Ohio. All riders must be off the course by 4 PM so please plan accordingly. An event waiver must be signed during registration before the start of your ride. (see website)
