MIDDLETOWN'S "PLAN OF ALL PLANS" CURES PROBLEMS??

   Perhaps we should withhold further comment until the City Council meeting on 2/16 when Miss Judy and Doug unveil their FY 2010-14 HUD Five-Year Plan?   
 
Surely the City's latest version of the "Plan of All Plans" is bound to transform our ailing community into a destination location for home buyers throughout the tri-state area?  
 
Maybe the City will embark upon Phase II of the Housing Code Enforcement blitzkrieg and handout citiations to 2,300 new property owners?  
 
Could it be that yet another HUD Multi-Million Dollar Grant Application is in the offing that will solve numerous housing problems over the next 50 years?  
 
Could it be that more "hefty pay raises" are on the horizon for the poorly paid Community Revitalization Department staff too?

	QUESTION: How much "meaningful information" on the proposed HUD Five-Year Plan will Miss Judy and Doug provide for average Middletonians at next Tuesday's City Council meeting? QUESTION: What's the latest vision from One Donham Plaza for spending millions of taxpayer's money via the proposed HUD FIve-Year Plan? QUESTION: How much "meaningful citizens participation" went into the preparation of this document? QUESTION: How much more money have Miss Judy and Doug spent for their Illinois-based consultant in the preparation of this plan? Any thoughts?
