BIG decision here.......will Mulligan direct the others on the Planning Commission to allow this to happen? Will there be dissention in the ranks? Will the chosen ones in the Mulligan S Main St kingdom allow total strangers, who would frequent this bed and breakfast, into their prestigious neighborhood? Questions to ponder prior to the big decision!!!
I'm so proud of my hometown and what it has become. Recall 'em all. Let's start over.

Mr. Faulkner's request is a reasonable one.  Approval of same will permit him to improve these parcels in a manner that benefits the city's betterment.  Good luck in ALL respects, Mr. Faulkner.

I rest my case as to the tentacles of the So Main St and downtown groups. Let's see how these votes go.

Do you all even know which property on S. Main this concerns?  Have seen the condition of 700 S Main?  This property has been on the watch list of the Historic Commission.  My guess is residents will be thrilled to see movement and improvement in the property.

Side note: new owners of Sorg Mansion long-term plans include B&B.  Zoning for that part of Main is a different classification and may allow for a B&B.

Doug - I really miss the ability to watch Planning Commission meetings online.  Will the city bring this back at some point.  It was lost when TV Middletown went silent.

We are in the process of replacing all of the video equipment in Council Chambers. It may be another 60 days or so before all of the changes are made. The new equipment allows streaming and digital recording so we will be investigating whether it makes more sense for us with our web page and existing equipment to stream live or to just record and post on You Tube the next day.

Either way, we will be restoring the meetings as the new equipment is installed and is operating properly.
