John J. Sauter, recently retired Chief of Middletown Division of Fire, announced today he will be a candidate for the Middletown City Schools Board of Education.

Praise is very high indeed for Mr. Sauter among the community, he seems to be a shoe-in for the job. His many years in public service should serve him well in what promises to be a tough position.
