Makes sense. He does a lot of good for youth in the Middletown area.

I wouldn't be working with MiddletownUSA.com today if I hadn't gone through the MALACHI program he helped establish.

Personally I would have liked to see some new blood.  I haven't been here long but his performance on City Council didn't impress me and his standing up with Pringle during his little tirad basically threatening Council, that they better put a Minority on Council, turned me off even more.

Board appoints new member

As a Middletown Board of Education member, the Rev. Greg Tyus said he would continue to work on ideas he campaigned with for the November board election.

Tyus, a former board member and councilman, was sworn in at a special meeting Friday. He will complete the unexpired term of Dr. David Kabithe, who resigned Nov. 20.

Tyus was the fourth highest vote getter for three board seats in the Nov. 6 election. He stressed improving communications with the community during his campaign.
