Butler sheriff wants to sue MexicoThis man has lost his friggin mind and now wants the tax payer to fund an idiotic law suit against Mexico ! No wonder his "hero" is that other idiot out in Arizona,Sheriff Arpaio. Who by the way has been under federal investigation for 2 years and has now been indicted by a grand jury. Is Rick Jones next for a grand jury indictment ?
I think it's time or past time for this man to retire and leave real police work to real professionals.

| I agree. Stupid idea that should have never been said by the sheriff. I do, however, like his stance on illegals in the area and his connection with ICE to deport them. I also like what Arpaio is doing out in Arizona in his treatment of prisoners with the tents and the pink prison garb. If Jones were to retire, would we still have the effort made to round up the illegals for deportation with his replacement? |

I would expect him to run for a legislative position as a conservative butlercounty republocrat.
watch him win easily
no black or hispanic vote, but he would laugh that off anyway
he has his sensible moments

 I'll second that. I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. He may get a little carried away at times, but at least he has the guts to address the major problem of illegals flooding into this country.

I can't believe,well actually I can since the biggest percentage of people in Butler County are redumblicans,that anyone would continue to support this man. Jones is nothing but a grandstander,always looking toward the lime light. Yes he is tough on illegal immigration but thats his stage and he really enjoys it. He has already cost the tax payer $millions in his grandstanding scheme's,I guess everyone forgot about the law suit against him where he lost and we tax payers paid for that one too.
Enough with the foolishness.

Hermes everyone has certain issues or issue that are most important to them and mine happens to be the illegal immigrants invading this Country and what it is doing to our standard of living now and what it will do for the future of my Children and Grand children so I will keep voting for Jones even if he is not perfect on every aspect of being sheriff. Go Sheriff Jones!
And I say that not because I am a "redumblican" or a dummercrat .
