Anyone have ash trees that are being affected by the Emerald Ash Borer?

Just started seeing a few trees that show signs in the neighborhood. Anyone had their trees treated for this and if so, has it been effective? Waste of money or not?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Vet- EAB as we tree hugggers call it has been in butler county for several years and we noticed the population very heavy out by Cinn-Day. road this year.  The problem is by the time you notice it it's to late.  I would suggest you call the LOCAL company Arbor care, Both owners are up to speed on IDing and if it's worth the money to try and save the trees.  If they can't help let me know but I try not to mix business with being on tree comm.  But our our cities tree canopy is going to change big time you aren't the only one with concerns.  If your trees are infested the sooner you remove the better, ash dry out quickly and climbing them can be very dangerous and costly.  Lots of examples of trees effected in town if anyone is interested in seeing the exit holes.
