Wondering Out Loud.................

Over five weeks ago on December 19, the city council approved a highly-discounted sales price plus other city subsidies for 140 N. Verity Blvd. to Mike Allen Real Estate Holdings, LLC dba BMW Motorcycles of Greater Cincinnati.  In the intervening time, there's been no official transfer of ownership as per Butler County Treasurer's and Auditor's Offices.

With the 2/28 first-half property taxes due date fast approaching, could the city's deal with Mr. Allen include a delay in conveyance of ownership to preclude any tax liability for him?  Additionally, it will be interesting to learn what the dollar amount of assessed values will be determined for Mr. Allen's new ownership of the former Senior Citizens Center.

Again, Just Wondering................

This whole deal is problematic from the get.

There's no possible way a BMW motorcycle dealership will last (especially in DOWNTOWN) - where I was yesterday for 4 hours watching people walk by who don't have a home let alone disposable income to buy a motorcylce and a BMW one at that.....

Let's not forget all the other reasons, which Nelson has expertly articulated in his many posts - again though....the only thing that matters now is elections.  Until we get a reasonable councl elected - we can all pontificate until we are blue in the face about this stuff - it isn't going to change.

November '19 - we need to overtake the council, and I believe we can do it, but we can't just sit idly by and watch - WE MUST MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Who's gonna run?  Who amongst us will rise from our nternet obscurity and keyboards and run for the open council seats?  Who?

Immediately following is a recently received private message (name withheld) penned by a long-term, respected MUSA participant about MiddleMom's occasional utterances:

"Wonder who middiemom is? She seems as brainwashed as the other city supporters on here. Seems no matter how much information you provide them, it makes no difference in their blind support for the way this city is run. So sad to see people who have no ability to interpret data and make a competent decision based on that data. All are court jesters dancing to the Adkins two step.

I encourage everyone to look at other threads. It is all ANALytical having conversations with himself. Why should we listen to a rabble rouser we know has an axe to grind with Doug? I find it truly amazing that you no longer live here but are OBSESSED with Middletown. Its not healthy, Nelson. You're not Woodward and Bernstein. Get a new hobby. This one isn't working for you.

And as for your "PM".... fake news! You only have conversations with yourself.
