Regarding this Editorial City's need for SunCoke remains
Sunday, December 14, 2008

A lot has changed since last May when we acknowledged that Middletown City Council had made a difficult but correct decision in approving a rezoning that paves the way for a new coke-producing plant to benefit AK Steel's local steelmaking facility.

Clearly the Journal is in support of AK and that is making the residends of Monroe refer to the Middletown Journal as the AK Journal. ref: Middletown Journal, or is it the AK Journal?

There is a wedge that is being driven between the two towns. Things are getting worse despite the Monroe Mayor offering forgiveness.

during the Christmas week what if we only post items that are positive. there is to much negative stuff going on these days. how about sharing some Christmas stories.
I am to the point that i might forgive the Middletown City Council, for they know not what they do.
