I was blown away when they charged the 13 year old boy with "porn on his cell phone" last Tuesday. The alleged porn was of 2 other 13 year olds engaged in "sexual perversion" so can anyone tell me how or why this would call for an arrest and get this kid labled a sexual offender ??!! This is stupidity at it's best for the prosecutor and police to pull this idiotic stunt.
Sex among teenagers is bad enough, taking pictures and or filming it is really bad,but it does not warrant such extreme actions by grown adults !! This sickens me to my core !! Police & prosecutors for to long have a free hand when it comes to such actions and it needs to stop !!!!

What is the point of having a sex offenders list if you are going to throw people like this on it? There is nothing to separate the bad guys from the kids that took pictures of themselves, and the title sex offender will become meaningless.

I agree, absolute insanity... Imagine the kind of trouble this kid is going to have being on this list because he's attracted to girls his age (which is normal as far as I'm concerned)... ![]() |

Exactly! You've got adults who've abused children in despicable ways, on the same warning list as thirteen year old kids who did something distasteful. |

I guess I agree somewhat with what is being said here. I do, however, think that parents are not keepng track like they should, of what their teenage kids are doing. We didn't have the "internet", or cell phones with video and cameras on them. Now, that kids have ACCESS to all of these things, the porn they are getting a hold of is out of control. There is a difference between "normal" teenage curiosity, and the pervesion of what "porn" petrays in the minds of kids. They don't think and reason like adults. Instead of arresting this kid and labeling him, they should be looking at his "parents", and asking them how they are monitoring their kids' actions. Cell phones, in my opinion, are a distraction anyway for kids still in school, especially elementary and middle school. Unless the student is involved in after school sports, and needs a phone to make calls home. Parents are naive. If your kid has a cell phone, and God forbid their own COMPUTER, and the parents are not looking behind them or monitoring this, and putting blocks on what is not appropriate, then shame on them.
