Is the Middletown Journal (aka the local fish wrapper) kidding with this plea for help from it readership??  I am blind and I can show them some of the worst without going to far out their front door.

The National Association of Realtors says a dilapidated property, or “eyesore,” can shave about 10 percent off the value of a listing. Eyesores may also contribute to blight.

The Middletown Journal is looking for Butler County’s biggest residential, commercial and municipal eyesores for an upcoming article.

Tell us where the worst offenders are located by emailing us the property’s address and your reasons. Include a photo if possible.

Submissions must be emailed to NorthCincyNews@gmail.com by Aug. 19.

Pacman
Every time I dive past the old Middletown Library on
First Ave it breaks my heart to see its current condition. Shame on Middletown for allowing this to happen.

Isn't this the same video we saw a year or so ago? Wonder why it is resurfacing?

Good point Vivian. Wonder why the old library has been allowed to survive the wrecking ball all these years? The city leaders love to tear things down and create desolation and the ghost town effect. After all, it is another opportunity for them to get rid of Middletown's past and to create their vision of the new Middletown, complete with Section 8 slum pockets, deserted business areas, deserted downtown and Towne Mall areas, no decent jobs, rampant poverty and a lowering from a middle class town to a poor one.
