The Butler Cty Landbank and city revitalization team had it torn down as a public nuisance. They decided fat was bad contributed to city obesity and declining public school scores, and excess sugar in cokes was not what young professionals desired while bike spinning and skiing down Weatherwax when it is bought by MetroPark and used as a Vermont like ski resort. Shame!

No, good news, it isn't moving.

The city economic department bought the laundry mat and the land where it sat will be an expanded parking lot. And they gave McDonald's tax abatements for both payroll and property for 25 years. It will save 30 6.75 hr jobs. Seriously, McDonald's is being rebuilt, and an expanded parking lot, but the city did not budge on giving tax benefits. |

Lol--like corporate McD needs middie tax breaks after being gifted the laundry lot

Hope that they pay corporate property tax and add a couple more minimum wage jobs Need a larger drive -thru for when the fed allows them to take the direction card Went to the music club last night to watch one of the best acoustic players that I have ever heard Might have been 10 people there, and small to smaller crowds everywhere else Mockingbird has opened if you are lucky enough to get there while they are open Good food-nice people Another Groundhog Day Super MU-M show next week featuring the great Jerry Douglas in the Grammy-winning Earl Scruggs tribute band Be there! |

I think the expanded lot isn't so much for more parking but for putting in the second drive-thru line like they've done at the Verity and Engle's Corner locations. The report in the Urinal is that the new building will have a smaller dining room than before with the expanded drive-thru as 80% of their business is in latter.
