AK may relocate 75 jobs....
"An AK Steel Corp. official confirmed the company is considering relocating about 75 employees from a Middletown office to another facility.'
Any bets where these employees will end up. So much for any gains in employment after the plant is built.
I particularly love this quote from McCoy of AK Steel.
"This is not just about 70 to 80 new manufacturing jobs at SunCoke, or 500 construction jobs, or even the 2,100 existing Middletown Works jobs," McCoy said. "It's about all those jobs ... " I guess he forgot to tell us, "Oh and by the way we are relocating 75 jobs." |
