Last week China and India refused to make necessary changes to reduce emissions.  If they refuse and the rest of the world sees this as a necessity, why would worldwide  trade embargos not be placed on China and India?  Do they make anything anyone else can't make?  Would this not help bring jobs back to the US and other countries?

We have used embargos against countries that threaten humanity with weapons, why not against those that threaten us pollution if this is really an issue?  Isn't this a double standard?  The US is always expected to step, how about the rest of the damn planet following suit for once?

While I agree that industrial pollution is no doubt causing trouble I do not believe in global warming. But I do agree with you rn, if it's so important why allow them to pollute ? I seriously doubt that embargos would work or even help due to the fact of cheap labor not allowing it. Politicians do what they can for themselves, not for country nor for the people. It's all about money, some can not accept that fact for whatever reason. Money is the god of politicians, power is bestowed by this god,for a few $million to a politician anything can be overlooked.

Not only does China,India and Brazil ( the 3 fastest growing economies in the world) refuse to cut their green house gases but they want us to pay them billions of dollars a year to do it because they are all 3 "developing" nations. In other words they want us to pay them to take what few manufacturing jobs we have left.
