The Splattered Platter Pottery Studio is moving into the downtown area near the Pendleton Art Center.

I have been in this area now for 6 months. I have heard a lot of negativity about the downtown area not being the way it used to be and so on. I was very hesitant to consider moving my business there...

but the more I think about it if everyone hesitates, the city will never be the way it used to be and it will never make a come back.

The Splattered Platter Pottery Studio is proud to be a part of bringing back the downtown area! We will be moving into the Rogers Jewelers building soon! I am so excited to bring my art and share it with everyone.

We hope that you will all stop in and check out the progress as we begin the move and set up. Heck, you can even help if you know someone that has a truck and a couple hours to spare we would love the help:)

My name is Lisa. I have had my business now for 6 years. Coming to Middletown I believe, will be the best move that I could have chosen for the business. We hope that you will all agree.

Thank you all,
Lisa

Lisa, "paint your own" pottery sounds like a fun, different activity. Please post again to let us know when you open up downtown.  My daughter would love this.

Lisa, best of luck to you.  Hopefully your decision is based on the reality of today and not on comments by those who seem obsessed with what has been (decades ago)  or some resurrection of this (Olde Downtowne).  Downtown will only regenerate and become relevant if we look to the future and stop looking back.  Too many in this town do this.

I will be sure to visit your business!

Lisa,

I am usually happy to help an entrepeneur get started.  I do not have a truck, but I do have a GMC Envoy (mid-size SUV).  If you think it would be a help, and if we could arrange a mutally convenient schedule, I would be glad to make a few trips for you.

(One note:  I am old and in ill health, so someone else must do the loading and unloading.  I am good at holding doors open, though. Big%20smile)

Mike
