Keir Educational Resources was honored as one of the top Small Businesss by the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce Wednesday.
The Chamber‘s Small Business of the Year Award program is designed to honor and educate small businesses to become more competitive, customer focused and profitable. The award process offers companies an opportunity to benchmark themselves agains the proven World-Class Management System - based on the criteria of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and the Ohio Award for Excellence. Malcolm Baldrige winners outperform the S&P 500 by 3 to 1.
Keir was honored with a Level 3 award - Achievement of Excellence - An advanced level of recognition for organizations that have clearly demonstrated, through commitment and practice, significant progress toward excellence.
This is the first year Keir has applied for this award.
President Henrietta Nye was awarded the honor, with her staff in attendance at the luncheon.
Keir is an outstanding provider and publisher of study materials for the professional student studying for designation programs in property & casualty insurance, financial planning and securities industries. We have been in business for over 30 years. The company is a family business. After the founder, Jack Keir retired, his daughter, Henrietta Nye has been president & COO for 19 years - the company has been located in Middletown for all of that time. her brother John is chairman of the board. We purchased a new building 2 years ago on Cincinnati Dayton Road in the Greentree Industrial Park. 4785 Emerald Way. We have 15 employees in the office, with many outside experts as authors and instructors. |
