Anthony Strother is a 6”4’ sophomore forward for the Middies Basketball team. Strother is all about focus averaging 4.7 points and 3 rebounds per game. The Middies are now ranked the Division I high school basketball team.
Many of Strother’s impressive points are not shown in the box score. Recently he scored a 31 on his American College Test. A perfect score for the test is a 36. He has taken the test twice now and the first time he got a 28. Strother has a 4.1 grade point average and is taking several advanced placement courses. His teachers and coaches say he is as competitive on the court as he is off of it.
Strother has made it to where he can go where he wants to go and do what he wants to do and not just because of basketball. He is a student who worries about his academics first and his athletics second. Before his basketball games he likes to be focused and straight to business which is how he is with his academics.
Strother is planning on going to college to major in forensic pathology or neurology. He possibly wants to become a neurosurgeon. He is looking for colleges that have good academic and athletic programs.
