Friday, September 18, 2009 at Bannitz Stadium the Middletown Middies will host the Sycamore Aviators in a varsity football game. The middies are 3 – 0 after defeating Akien High School 48 to 6, Lima High 61 to 7 and East St. Louis 27 to 16.
The Sycamore Aviators are 2 – 1, but will it be enough to stop coach Krause’s Middies. Krause is in his first year as the Middies head football coach coming over from coaching in Monroe. He calls his Middies “Physical and Fast."
The offensive line and the defense as a whole are tough to beat. Couple that with offensive speed and a 6'4" 205 lb quarterback, Calib Watkins who can move, you got a team that is going to win allot of games.
Tonight’s game kicks off at 7:30 pm
