"Symphony Delicious" Fundraiser for MSO Guest Conductor Campaign
Thursday, September 6, 2012 8:55:28 AM - Middletown Ohio

Symphony Delicious

September 8th 2012,  6:00 - 9:00 pm

BeauVerre Riordan Studios
1054 Central Ave
MiddletownOhio

The Purpose- This elegant fundraiser is for the benefit of the Middletown Symphony Orchestra as part of Cathie Mulligan's campaign for Guest Conductor. Cathie and her committee are honored to support our renowned MSO and invite you to join us at our Symphony Delicious event. Ticket cost is $40.00 per person and includes hors d'oeurvres and sweet treats with one drink ticket for beer, wine, coffee or tea. All proceeds are to benefit the Middletown Symphony Orchestra.

The Food- Come join all the fun to help Cathie raise funds to be the Guest Conductor for the MSO. On Saturday, September 8th have some "Foodie" fun with three local Chefs. You will receive twelve different bites to enjoy with an opportunity to pick the"Best of Middletown 2012"in four different categories along with our panel of judges. These are the "Best of the Best" Chefs in Middletown and the surrounding area.

Chef Kirsten Spicer of the fabulous Two Women in a Kitchen has been creating Fun Food with a Gourmet Touch in her main kitchen inside Miller Coors Brewery in Trenton, OH for the past 12 years. She caters all types of events from corporate luncheons to weddings.

Chef Karah DeBord is a graduate of The Art Institute of Cincinnati, magna cum laude. She is currently the Executive Chef for Browns Run Country Club.  She was formerly of @ the Square in Downtown Middletown.

Chef Gary Henz is the executive chef at the Red Onion in Monroe, Oh. He previously spent a decade at the Maisonette in Cincinnati and another 10 years as the executive chef at The Trails End in Dayton. He will also be the Executive Chef for the new Stained 1054 Bistro coming soon to Downtown Middletown.

The Cost- of Symphony Delicious is $40 per ticket. Thanks to the generous contribution of our chefs and others, only $20 of the $40 will go towards the cost of food and drink. That means that the other $20 per ticket will go directly to Middletown Symphony Orchestra. So if we sell out the event, we will raise nearly $3,000 for Middletown Symphony Orchestra!

There will be a cash bar to purchase additional drinks of wine and beer. Also there will be an opportunity to purchase tickets for valuable basket packages with wonderful prizes inside.

The Entertainment will be provided by acclaimed MiamiUniversityfaculty member and recording artist Jim McCutcheon.

More Info - Cash and check are preferred methods of payment in advance. Reservations can be made by mailing a check to John Peterson, Treasurer, 4908 Timberline Drive, Middletown, Ohio 45042 with Symphony Delicious in the memo line. You may also purchase a ticket at BeauVerre Riordan Studios or here on line. Credit cards may also be used but will result in an additional charge of $3 per ticket to offset service fees that MSO will incur. Reservations must be made in advanced and secured with a credit card until you arrive. In the event that you do not show up, your card will be charged full price for the event.

  • If you register to attend and then need to cancel, please contact Linda Moorman at 513-425-7312 to let Symphony Delicious organizers know of your intentions ASAP.
  • Seating will be limited to 150 guests.
  • Guests will be seated with other guests due to table arrangement at the venue.

Middletown Symphony Orchestra’s Conductor Auction Pops Concert will be held 8 p.m.Nov. 17 at Miami University Middletown Finkleman Auditorium. Cost is $25. For tickets, call (513) 423-6779.
