    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.middletownusa.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=358">wasteful</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2001<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> Sep&nbsp;29&nbsp;2009 at 12:48pm<br /><br />Look at the bright side this news should make Council and the City Admin happy as they jump for joy at anything to do with HUD FUND$$$$$$$$$$$$, eventhough it is detrimental to the city as a whole.<img src="http://www.middletownusa.com/forum/smileys/smiley18.gif" height="17" width="17" border="0" alt="Ouch" /><DIV></DIV><DIV></DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Funny how such a small cross section of the population can so adversly affect the whole city as it does.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>1662 Section 8 Vouchers x 2.4 = 3989 citizens vs. 47000+ and.............................</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>or </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Look at it another way 22% of Middletown's Citizens live below the Poverty level which is about 11400 vs 40600 and again the majority looses.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>There are not&nbsp;enough jobs in Middletown to ever get this number of people out of poverty, so we should stop acting like this is a wonderful thing which Council and Admin do all of the time.</DIV>]]>
